JOG - Job's for Ohio's Graduates Dropout Recovery Program

Here's How the Program Works:

  • Offers young adults ages 16-21, who have dropped out or otherwise not completed high school, help in earning their diploma or GED.
  • Provides up-to-date skills that match the current job market.
  • Provides financial assistance to selected students who wish to continue their education or vocational training.
  • Provides follow-up to 12 months after program completion by a Job Specialist to ensure continued success.
JOG Services that may be provided:
  • Diploma/Basic Skills Development
  • Ninth Grade Proficiency Remediation
  • Job Readiness Skills
  • Career Exploration
  • Job Postings
  • Resumes
  • Funding up to a 2-Year Degree
Possible Supportive Services (PSS):
  • Fees for Adult Education
  • On-the-Job Training
  • Internship
  • Mentoring
  • Apprenticeship
  • Counseling
  • Childcare
